Hello,
I want to ask a question about whether the situation I have is suitable for a viable lawsuit and what, if anything, I should do. I am currently a Job Corps student in Simpsonville, KY and I want to know if I would be able to sue the managment company that manages my Job Corps center because of a procedure that is run here that I think is being conducted wrongly. The residential staff that work in the dorm that we live in will set off the fire alarms and yell that there is a fire and come to all of our rooms, often at 1-2 a.m., to wake us up and tell us to get out of the building. Come to find out, there never was a fire, but instead it is some sort of timed fire drill. This procedure causes distress in not only myself, but many of my fellow peers, and many people get upset when we are made to stand outside for up to 25-30 minutes in 30 degree and lower temperatures in the early hours of the morning in our pajamas and sleepwear. I look forward to your response and I hope you can provide some advice on this matter. Thank you |
