My aunt and I had a joint bank account. I married a man she disapproved
of and she stole every last dime of it out of my account. A total of $2700.00. Can I sue her for the sum of money, legal fees, and mental anguish? I would like to sue her for at least 5 times the amount she stole. Also she lives in California and I live in Texas. She has my social security number and I am afraid she will use it illegally. She has a tax return business and she makes fraudulent tax returns. I am afraid she will use my number to get my tax return and ruin my credit. How can I find a lawyer who will help me? |

Sue her in small claims if the money was not also hers to take.
The judge will not support just any random taking. |
