car held hostage
I purchased a car on Ebay, payed for it by cashiers check, hired a shipping broker to move the car from west virginia to california. The seller believes the shipper pick up his car instead (he was not at pick up point, left his car in plain view and put mine behind a trailer, told them to pick it up and left the keys in both cars)of mine but the broker says they did not pick up any car. The seller is now holding my car hostage and wants to put it up for sale again for more money to help pay for his stollen car. The police say it is a civil matter and Ebay is not helping at all.

How much did you pay.
That is not just a civil matter--it is a crime to wrongly hold what you paid for. Sometimes you have to push the police a little. |
