I purchased a vehicle 2 years ago. It needed work, so now it's done. I want to register it, but find out there is still a lien against it. Can I still register it? Whats the recourse? The original owner died last year, so I guess asking about it is out of the question. Thanks for any help! Jay |

Contact the lien holder and see what if anything is still owed. You can still register it often, but they could possibly take the car if the lien is not satisfied.
