IF SOMEONE IS THREATING YOU WITH A POSSIBLE OF LAWSUIT DUE TO SLANDER AND LIBEL. BUT THE SUPPOSE ACTS WERE COMMITTED ON A PUBLIC PAGE SUCH AS MYSPACE, CAN THAT BE TAKEN TO COURT??
HOW CAN THEY PROVE THAT YOU ARE THE ACTUALLY PERSON WHO WROTE IT. ANYONE CAN HACK INTO ACCOUNTS AND WRITE MEAN STUFF. ALSO IS IT SLANDER AND LIBEL, IF YOU SAY SOMETHING THAT IS YOUR OPINION OR IF YOU ARE DEFENDING YOURSELF |

If what you said was mere opinion, the libel claim won't hold up. An assertion has to be "provable as false" to be libelous; in other words, if you didn't state a factual assertion that was false, you're in the clear.
