retracting a statement
On saturday night i had a party in my house, things got out of hand and a fight broke out between my husband and his friend. The police were called and i gave a witness statement. At the time i was very drunk and although i can't really remember what i said, i now believe i may have said some things which were incorrect, missed out some details and got some things mixed up. Can i withdraw this statement and make another one? I live in scotland.

Inform them you were not sober and that the statements may not be accurate,
