I wish to inform you that Life Insurance Policy application can be filled by any person but applicant must sign the application. Unless it is specifically stated that applicant has to fill with his own hands the application can be filled by any person.

Insurance companies need complete information to evaluate your application or process your claim. Misrepresenting the facts on an insurance form is fraud.

As long as the information is accurate, I see no problem with it. If there is medical history, however, that needs to be completed on the application, if and only if the information the other person puts in the application is accurate should someone entrust filling out the application.
There may be several reasons why one would want another to fill in forms for them; they are legally blind, unable to read (illiterate), or disabled. |

Yes, that would be a legitimate thing to do as long as none of the information on the life insurance application was falsified or misrepresented. Anyone who is having their application filled out by someone else should know what they're getting themselves into, and refuse to sign an application filled out by someone they don't trust. If this was a case of coercion, it would have to be proven.
