DSS ( dept. of social services ), the Commonwealth Attorney, my kids mother and the local police dept. used my kids ( 12 & 8 ) to convict an innocent man of molesting my daughter. They told my kids to lie on the stand and my son knew and spent the night at a jury members home. The DA told my son to also hide that fact. My kids have told me the truth about what happened and the person who was illegally convicted is soon going to be released. I want to make sure they all answer for what they did and for using my kids to lie and committ perjury on the stand. Can I sue the state of VA (DSS), the DA's office and the police dept for what they did?

I wish to inform you that the persons of DSS were involved in illegal conviction. In this regard you may inform court that there was illegal conviction. You also not file a case against DSS because you are not the victim. In your case the man imprisoned is the victim. He may file a motion in court and get released early and court may take steps against involved officials.

This is really not a civil matter, but in the interests of justice, reversing a criminal conviction. With the involvement of the local DA and police, the jury -- to investigate this matter will require action at the state level. You need to go your state's Attorney General, to the unit that will investigate fraud, corruption and wrongdoing by public officials. You might also speak with an investigative reporter from your city's largest daily. Reporters know public officials and procedures and what you report is a blockbuster of a story. With the press behind you, you cannot only get some direction as to whom to report to, but they will follow what the State Attorney General's office does or does not do which may bring the matter to light and a just resolution. |
