Default how do I find an attorney for this?

I was arrested for purchasing an item, that earlier that day some one had put extra items in the box. I at my trial 2 things happened. The first was the store security dubed and edited the video. The second is that the prosecuter with held evidence that, allowed there wittness to lie.
The public defender said that I would have to take it to civil court. I don't have A clue how nto find an attorney, or even what area of law it would fall under. Can any one help?

Unhappy Re: how do I find an attorney for this?

Unfortunately my friend if there is not witnesses is not to much to do regarding the item that someone place in your box.. The response to that on a Jury trial or even Judges and Defense counsel will be,
Whose box it was? Yours right,
Whose responsibility to keep safe that box and guard that box? Yours right
To whom the item inside the box belongs too? To you right
Then the evidence are clear, even if wasn’t you the one that place the extra item on the box , unless you have a witness that can testify and blame and identified who did it , then you probably have a case otherwise “NO”. Now remember that the courts are based on Physical Evidences, Discretion and Interpretation.
I know that this is not what you want to hear but how this world works.
Good luck and keep this incident as experience
