Mandatory Drug Testing Laws in Texas
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am a proud father of an exceptionally gifted student who participates in Texas UIL Competitions for Band and Acedemics. Our School Board is considering adopting a useless Policy according to all the Modern Statistics, The Supreme Court needs to Revisit it , that i hope will happen. My question is, are there any cases currently pending on this type of matter in Texas, and is there any way to stop this Violation of the 4th amendment rights. My daughter is trying for Columbia University, i never see her she is always extracirricular. Any followups to these questions greatly appreciated. Brian Saffer Brownwood Texas |

What can I do to fight the Brownwood Independent School District from forcing My daughter to Urinate in a cup in order to participate in her Band and Extracurricular activities?
They want to impliment a mandatory Drug Test, I want to stop them....How should I proceed? |

Ask the school board to intervene and overrule the policy. It is not illegal to require a drug test but that kind of invasive testing will often not be supported by Boards and superintendents, especially if other parents complain.
