Default Taking on a college? (I was denied my right to graduate the college)

I have recently been denied my right to graduate the college I have attended for the past 3.5 years. The college denied my right to graduate when after waiting for them to transfer a course from a local college that was taken though my high school finally was processed as a different course. I now will not be able to graduate since they claim I should recieve no credit from a course that I am retaking (but for 3.5 years said it was a different course). I now will not be able to accept a teaching job in the fall since I will have to return for one more course at my cost. I had planned on opening my own business on may 15th which is my graduation, which I will not be able to work at (so it will fail) if I have to return to take one course. I will face financial hardships and mental discomfort from this. What should I do? What kind of lawyer should I look for? Is it worth fighting?

They can waive that if it was their error. And they should.

Push the issue or threaten to have lawyers involved. Hire one if need be.

Or even file in court yourself if you need to.
