Racial suit: Can he sue us personally for calling him names?
A guy we work with is suing the company we work at for discrimination. He named the company and 5 employees in the suit. Can he sue us personally for calling him names? Or will this all be on the company?

He can yes. But names alone are usually not sufficient to get any big judgment unless he was constantly being tormented. Even then it is difficult as to you personally--but not so difficult as against the company.
The HR dept should have resolved that long ago if that was a problem. |
