Default need pro se legal help

I had to answer a complaint in civil court and had to do so by myself. I really cannot afford to pay a lawyer and the suit honestly is completely frivolous in my opinion.

But now I have to deal with the proceedding and I do have some issues. Where can really get pro se or pro bono help while dealing with this ridiculous case. Legal aid told me no way--it's a civil matter they said and they are understaffed with critical child custody and other cases.

I would suggest you also email worldlawdirect on their home page or click "site" at the top of their page. I am sure they could help you or direct you.

I have to answer a complaint and would like to do myself. The case is only over 2300 dollars.

You are quibbling over $2300 when you have how many kids?? Pay the pittance and get over it - especially if it directly for the support of your minor children! Any decent attorney will charge $200/hr just to talk with you.

I am sure the World Law Direct staff or lawyers could help direct you. You might email them on the home page.

Can I get just help reviewing the complaint answer, that I already drafted myself? I will file it myself.
