Suing tobacco company for inhaling smoke

My question is: Can I sue tobacco company for forcing me to inhale smoke?

I dont think so... you're entitiled to fresh air, certainly, but others are also free to destroy themselves in any slow painful awful manner they please.

Should I sue YOU because the cars you ride in contribute to pollution? The plants that produce the products you buy contribute to pollution? Should I sue you because you go to the bathroom, and that waste is flushed in to resevoirs and other bodies of water?

You won't win with a tobacco company. You can't really sue anyone for that.

And perfume and deodarants along with carbon monoxide and every form of pollutant in the air from just about any product used in daily life. Heck there are pollutants we are not even aware of yet, like what the long term use of cell phones and signals buzzing through the air can cause. Bottom line though is people on average live longer than they did ages ago thanks to modern science despite all the negatives.

Actually, you CAN sue tabacco companies for health issues that arise from smoking. Many cases have been won due to illness and or death. In 1996, the supreme court threw out the class-action legal case of 145 billion dollars thus leading the way for individual lawsuits.
