Default As Waylon once said "A Good Hearted Woman and A Good Timing Man".

As of a couple months ago, My soon to be mother in law found out that her fiance' had another life. Like a whole other family and everything. I know, I was suprised too. Anyways to even stuff more down the crapper, She half owns the condo that We (My fiance', her brother and mother) all live in. This would really not be so complicated if when we offered for the scoundrel to takeover sole responsibility of the condo, he did. But in stead of letting her move on and continue life, he has now hired an attorney and the attorney has "informed" us that if my mother in law does not sign over for sole responsibility of the condo, they will be forced to take action against us.

Now considering that the condo is in both of their names, how can my mother in law be forced to be solely responsible for a condo that is only half hers?

Is there any way to force this scallywag to continue payment of this since his name is on the title?

Is there any "action" that can be taken by this abomination?

I would most graciously appreciate any leads, sources or just plain old information that would be of help.
