Unhappy is this slander?

my ex with whom we have a child tells people that i am mentally unstable and that is why i lost custody. he told 3 members of my family and god knows who else. this is not true and is not in our custody papers. he has previously told a physician that i was bipolar and she said no i wasn't he also has told this to local law enforcement i knkow this because i saw it in a report. i have had evals that were normal and i have never been diagnosed or treated for the disorder. can i sue?

who knows... but i wouldn't. i've talked with several men on on-line dating sites. they LOVE to say the reason they're divorced is because the old ex is... you guessed it... bi-polar! makes them look lily-white and they have to take no responsibility for their part whatsoever. just don't freak out... remain calm and never say anything bad about him. there is power in that. people pick up on it. evana trump knew this. he'd love for you to go around acting like a mad idiot making his statements against you look real good. do what you don't want to do and it'll be the right thing... but hard. maroni
