Exclamation no restitution as a minor, mother settled behind my back

i sued someone over 10 years ago and won a lot of money. i never got the money because my mother who sued on my behalf settled with the defendent outside of court. i can prove all of this. but my questions are, what are the chances and circumstances i have of suing my mother and getting restitution from the original defendent. and can pay a percentage of my restitution to a lawyer rather than from pocket because i don't have the money right now? also, what happens if the defendent doesn't have what the judgment decrees?
