Default frivolous law suits alabama

We were sued in 2006, $30,000 in attorney fees later a judge ruled in our favor with a simple 1 paragraph motion for summary judgment. Most of the components of the lawsuit did not even apply to us. In our minds it was frivolous. Does Alabama allow us to recoup attorney fees for a frivolous law suit?

Default Re: frivolous law suits alabama

Yes but you you have to show it indeed was completely frivolous and that is not easy to do normally.
