life thrown away
My fiance' has been locked up every since he was 14 years of age and now he is 32 years of age. He has served seventeen years for something he did not do and all you have to do is look at the crimes. Because he did not know anything about the law at that time, we feel he was railroaded and now he has someone on his side to help him, I am coming to you. I can't talk to the judge and i would not know how to go about wording it, but i need to file a "petition for post conviction release." He is serving a sixty year sentence and he is only on his 18 year. How do i go about filing this petition?

You need very good evidence and then frankly a lawyer to assist--it is usually a waste of time to try it alone...
