CNPC boosts war chest with $30bn loan
China National Petroleum Corp, the country's largest oil and gas producer and supplier, said it had received a $30bn loan from a state-owned bank in a strong boost to its war chest to secure overseas resources.
CNPC, parent of PetroChina, said that China Development Bank had agreed to provide the five-year loan at a discounted interest rate, which would be used to fund its “go global” strategy. More... |
