Confused Support/ Court Order

I've just been advised that my court order for child support was changed ( all arrears cancelled out) by my ex lawyer. He worked for me over 1 yr ago & the court is telling me he signed consent on my behalf. I've not been advised about any of these procedures.
Is this at all legal?

Sounds barely legal to me...

As far as I know (and I know little on this...)

You can contact the court and tell them that your lawyer no longer represents you.. I'm just not sure if you can backdate that...? I bet a simple walk-in with your county clerk can get you info on that. Write up two letters for the case. One with current date and stating this lawyer no longer represents you & one stating the lawyer has not rep. you since ____. If one (the one saying he/she has not represented you as of such and such date) isn't legal and binding the clerk will inform you of that.

Keep us updated I'd love to see how this turns out too.

No matter what happens I'd file a current letter asap.
