Errors in fact are often made.

...have an audit or gather your evidence and show them you have paid.

World Law's lawyers could also probably intervene and help resolve this if need be. You may email them on the home page.

Well that would likely help but certainly keep the originals and send only copies...

dear sir madam,
i followed your advice of sending xerox copies of my pay check to child support as my evidence that im paying my cs regularly but due to some error they sent me same amount as balance 3 yrs ago.I just want to ask, if i need to send it directly to san diego child support dept. or there is a specific name of person i need to send it?
im looking forward for your help.
hoping for your kind consideration.

You need to quit guessing about what they need, and just call them to find out.

41,000 dollars is alot...sounds like a glitch, unless if there's couple/few years you missed out on paying and usually if you owe they would recapture your taxes as they did with mine when i missed 1 year of payment which exceeded to 9,000 dollars of 94 (5,000 beginning hospital bill on me!) a difference of interest accrued in one year!!!!! My situation was that I owed child support also during my yearsssssssss of paying until she was 18 of 2004 and owed back child support of 2,000 dollars balance...I sent in 500 dollars every month just to get over for four months and I'm 40 now (started young/in college as well) she's 21 now and in college w/c i'm thankful and blessed she had scholarship for that! anyways, make sure that there was no interest and if there was that would make a difference, I approached and law abide front of the judge if possible if the interest could be stayed..I kept and still have all the monthly stub payments/bill statements all in a three ring binder still and it would be easier to have when the judge sees that binder that you are consitent and responsible for paying...they might re-consider it, they did with me!. good thing you kept yours otherwise it would be tough to fight it without it......I did and it did...it will give you more initiative and motivate, good luck!
