Calif Proof of Service of Summons
I live in Florida and am going to court in California. A Proof of Sevice of Summons and Notice and Acknowledgement of Receipt was sent to the Respondant but she has failed to acknowledge the forms were received. I have proof (USPS delivery confirmation) that the forms were mailed out and received. Does the 30 days to file a Response start when the docs were delivered in the mail last month, or personal service of the docs that was completed today? Any help would be great.
