Confused child support help. do we still have to go to court and establish child support?

me and my son were recently approved for the medical card from dept of job and family services and at the time my son's father was no longer living in the household. i just got a letter giving me a court date to establish child support but in the last couple days my son's father has moved back in and we are planning to get married. do we still have to go to court and establish child support since he is now living with us and if not how do i go about ending the child support case. please help

Did the state actually file for a CS order because of the assistance you and son are recieving? If so, you'll need to contact them. They will probably go forward with the order anyway because Dad will have to reimburse the state for assistance recieved.

If you filed without the state's filing, you can file to request that the petition be dismissed.
