need justice
Do a man have the right to know when custody of a child is giving to a grandperant if he is lockup?

He normally should be notified of any proceeding if the court knows where he is.

By lockup, do you mean jail or prison? If so, no matter where the father is, he has the legal right to be informed. However, as the previous poster pointed out, the court must know where the father is. Also, if the father is in jail/prison, there wouldn't be too much the father could do anyway, at least until he's released. |
