Confused Calculating child support in Kentucky

My husband and I live in the state of Kentucky and I am wanting to know something about when they are calculating child support. When they are calculating child support are they to just count the 40 hours or are they allowed to count his overtime? It is not fair to count his overtime since he never knows if he is going to get the overtime especially with the job that he has.

Default Re: child support

I live in Utah. When I went to mediation and was trying to figure out the child support. The mediator told me that they figure a 40 hour week. My ex sometimes worked under 40 in the winter and was trying to fight paying a full week. In the summer he got overtime and bonuses. In the summer he was also doing landscaping on the side and making over $200.00 a week. The mediator said I could not get any support from the landscaping. Any extra income did not count. I would check with the courts though. The mediator may have said that so that we would come to an agreement.
