my ex has recently moved out of state and did not tell the courts that she was moving. Part of the custody papers said that she had to tell the courts when she moved. Can she get into trouble for not telling anyone that she moved. Also with the child I am the only father that the child knows and am wondering if there was a way to get visitation. I love that child like she was my own daughter. My oldest daughter considers her like a sister. i am just trying to figure out what my options are. thank you

Yes she can be held in contempt.
And yes the court will order visitation that is workable for you even if the court does eventually let her move. But she needs to get back and report to the court asap or you may file to hold her in contempt. |
