Paternity testing

We have a now 7-yr-old daughter, but I've never been able to afford the legal procedure to do the testing. My ex was "around" a lot even when I was in bootcamp right after we married, so I've always had my doubts. I'm currently overseas and she is in Michigan, how would I be able to get an order for paternity?

I just pay SO much every month (and it keeps increasing every time I get promoted), so I want to be 100% sure.

If there is a order in court for support obligations how come you didn't ask for the judge to take a paternity test before the order was ineffect... Well you could file papers in court or pay to have a test taken and if it comes back negative then she would of course have to reimburse you for those payments you made if positive then you are good.. You can also fine for change in support as well and if you can prove that you have more income going out of the home then you have comming in they will work with you on your payments that is all I can say...It cost some money to file for paternity test either way but if you go thru the courts then the judge will have the results immediately cause it's a order and if she refuses to take the teat then it is used against her..
