Default Shared Custody (the non-residential parent moves out-of-state)

If divorced parents have shared custody of a child and the non-residential parent moves out-of-state, seeing the child only a few days a year, is the agreement null and void? The state is unaware of the non-residential parent's departure as a false in-state address was provided to the courts. Thanks!

I wish to inform you that shared custody agreement as approved by court will be enforceable. Further if parents have not informed correct details then also correct ordered custody is in force. Private agreements between parents cannot have force in front of court agreements.

Thank you for your replies. It has been several years since the non-residential moved several states away. If the residential parent wanted to move towards full custody because the location of the non-residential parent makes it impossible for the agreement to be followed, would this typically be a black-and-white issue, or would it be open to a lengthy process? Or is this a ridiculous question to ask as there are probably many if/thens? All help including possible if/thens are appreciated.
