Paternity of my baby... Can I still fight for paternity in court?
If Im the rightful father of my ex girlfriends baby, but she is now married and has the new man's name on my child's birth certificate, can I still fight for paternity in court?

I wish to inform you that you may file a petition in the court to determine parentage. You may request the court to order DNA testing to establish you as the biological father of the child. If the DNA tests establish that you are the father of the child then you may petition the court for change of name of father in the birth certificate of the child. Thereafter, you may request the court in the matter of custody and visitation. You will also be responsible to pay child support. The court will consider the facts and decide the matter keeping in view the best interests of the child.
