I wrote the thread about I miss my children for those who read it. Basically my ex has my 2 children living with him. We are now divorced 8 years. No court orders were drawn for custody of the kids. We worked out everything amongst ourselves til now. Since he has moved in with his girlfriend he has really turned into a real %#!%%#*! He asked me to sign papers to prove he had custody so he could get cheaper insurance. I denied he kept the kids from me. Lawyer costs are out of this world!!! So I agreed to sign the papers. He now wants more child support. I am on disability and he gets benefits for them plus I help out for anything he needs. He has constantly called me and fought with me for the past 2 months. Which I would consider harrasment he is the father of my kids not GOD! He tells me what I can and can't do with the kids. Which store to shop at for them and so on. There has to be a limit of power these parents have when they have custody. No matter what papers show they are our children! Not to put fathers down in anyway but us mothers go through nine months and birth with these kids. When they wanted something to eat they ate from my boob! Now I got advice on calling children services because he lives with his girlfriend and my kids have no bed of their own. But her 3 kids do. On top of that they have 15 animals in a small house. I will not pay to support her kids and 15 animals which are hers. Children services went to their residence and he is now saying he is going to charge me with false accusations. I have had enough and I am going to fight til the end. I am going to represent myself in court I have done a lot of research. This is bull. The Fight is on!

Good luck! Many people do handle it themselves in family court and hopefully the judge will use common sense and concentrate not on legal procedures and wrangling but rather on what is good for the kids.
Keep us informed! |
