my ex he left my daughter to her grandparents for 30 days.

You may contact with grand parents and plan child visitation with child. However if grandparents do not allow you to meet with the child then you may require modification of child custody orders. If child custody order is silent on child meeting you on birthday then you may file a motion for modification of child custody that on birthday of child you should be allowed to meet child.

You can visit your local courthouse and ask the court clerk about the process for requesting visitation through Family Court. She will give you the pertinent paperwork and walk you through the process. Find out if you will have to pay a fee and how much it will cost for you to have your visitation paperwork filed with your local courthouse.

What is the relationship with the grandparents? Can you plan a birthday party for her together? And be sure to be there with her on her birthday? With presents and surprises?

Just because the child is with the grandparents for her birthday does not automatically preclude your being able to visit with her and give her presents. If you and the grandparents could plan a surprise birthday party for her, would not that be the best of all birthdays for her?
