I am a mother of 3 ( ages 10,8,6),still living a miserable life with their
dad even if we\'re already divorced since Dec.2002, why? because the title
of the mobile home where we are staying now is both under our names. He does
not want to leave, neither I don\'t. \"Self-indebdetness\" is also one of
the reasons why I stay ( he always quoting me that if not for him, I am not
here in America). He never had financial support for my kids, i.e.,
insurance, school uniforms, clothes since birth and does not even care if my
kids already eat or if they have food to eat. What should I do from here. I
cannot stand anymore his verbal harrasments and humiliation?

If two or more owners cannot agree on what to do with a piece of property they may petition the court and the court will order a sale or refinancing etc. so that the one or more may get out of the property obligation and/or the other(s) may keep it etc.--it is often done-- (This is true in some cases even for equitable owners that have paid various amounts etc., but for various reasons, may not be on title.)
