I'm a male and I want custody of my son.
I have lived with my girlfriend for the last two years off and on. She became pregnant and we gave birth to our son in June 06. My son, Brendan is now four months old. My girlfriend recently got a job at "Hooters" restaurant and I believe met another man. I feel as though thats the reason she left me and took off with my son to go live in another city about an hour away from Denver. My girlfriend has done this before in the past and has a daughter from a previous relationship. Bottom line, I want full custody of my son. I have had no contact with my son for the last four days and I don't even know where he is. Rebecca will not return any of my phone calls. Help!!!!

You may file in court. That is the only way. A judge will either set a mandatory visitation schedule for you, or will award you primary custody and award her visitation.

There are several ways you can go about this 1. you can file for Custody thru the courts and have proof that you have not seen your son and have not had contact with her in the past several months since she moved and they will either grant you visitation schedule or they will give you custody which they might not the first time around.. If they don't give you custody and they place a visitation schedule in effect follow that visitation for 2-6 months and if she still refuses you visitation and refusses to contact you keep a record of this by keeping a notebook marked visitation schedule and write the date and time that you went for visitation and then mark it denied or got and what happened in there what was said keep a record and each time she refuses you take the order you have to the local police department in the city she resides and make sure they place a copy on file and when you go there if she refuses you call the local police and tell them it's your visitation time and she's refusing and hey will come out just make sure you have the order with you and they will give her two choices give you your son or she will go to jail or they will make a report and then you can use that report against her in court when you go to file for custody and most likely within the first 2 -6 months if she refuses you more than allow you , you willreceive custody that is all that I can tell you..I hope it works,.. If you need more info you can contact on my profile page...Good Luck..

are there any court orders? you need to do that first. untill then she has full custody of the child. and you will not get full custody unless you can prove her unfit, most likely you will get joint |
