BackPay Child Support: Am I Entitled?

When I was born, my parents split shortly after, and my father was ordered to pay child support monthly as my mother was awarded full custody. He made 1 payment, and my mother never received any further money from him.

Now my mother was served papers to appear in court when I was about 11 or 12. She never showed up to court and the case was thrown out.

Is there any way to appeal this case and bring my father back to court for the backpay in child support. I'm now 22 year old and was wondering if there is a way to go ahead with this.

If your mother wants to try to persue it she can, but you can't.
If she didn't show up to court 10 years ago and it was child support related on her behalf, I doubt anything will be done now.
Why have you or she waited so long to do anything about it?
