unmarried and a new baby

I just recently had a new baby, but I am unmarried and have not heard from the father for quite a few months. If the father were to return, or contact me concerning the baby, I would like to know if the father would have any parental rights to my baby even though the father is not listed on the birthcertificate or any other records concerning the birth of my baby?

He could ask for some visitation if he is the father and he would normally get it; you could also ask for child support.

Pardon me there missy, bit it is NOT just your baby. It is HIS baby as well.... Sheesh.. I am really getting sick and tired of these ignorant selfish women who think that a man has no rights to his child and these women who keep referring to the kids as THEIR kids and not his..... There's a lot of women out there who seriously need a wake up call. FATHERS HAVE JUST AS MANY RIGHTS TO THEIR CHILDREN AS MOTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
