switching over support
I am 19 and I have a four month old son and I have spoken with my son's father and he is agreeing to now sign over his parental rights, to me. So this way I have full custody of my son and I have all of the rights to him. How do I go about getting this done? Do I have to get a lawyer and go to court or can I just go to my local government center and get it taken care of that way? Thank you for your time. I appreciate it.

he cannot sign over his rights unless you have a husband willing to adopt the child. nor can he terminate them to get out of paying child support. |
