Exclamation HELP UNMARRIED MN TERMINATION OF RIGHTS

Heres the story, I got pregnant after a three year relationship, everything was fine. THEN, when i was two months pregnant he left me for someone else. Fortunately i was graced with meeting a wonderful man who took me (three months pregnant now) out, and showed me what real men were all about. almost two years later my son is now 15 months old and this man has been by are side through it all. First kick, hiccups, Delivery, Diapers, Long night, teething, the whole nine yards. He is truly the only dad my son has ever had and considers him the biological father. The sad part is when my son was three months old the county ordered me to put the biologicals father on the birth certificate or my son would be taken of medical assistants, and they told my in return a child support case would go into effect. so i did it of course cause medical bills for a baby can get high, and child support would be nice. WELL i get nothing, the biological father gets 700.00 a month in a disability check and i get 0.00!!!! NOT RIGHT!!! in addition i get added threats and e mails telling me he is going to take him from me. Well the thing with him is after we split he got into drugs, didnt graduate high school, has not had a job, or a stable place of living, his parents are alcoholics. Frankly they are bad people, bad infulences, and just bad news.

So my question to any one with advice is... someday i want to marry this Chris (my quardian angel) and until then i want the added worries of looseing my son out of my head so i want to TERMINATE HIS RIGHTS... do i have any grounds??

HELP!!

yes you do-however you and chris need to be married at least a year before you can do a stepparent adoption. untill then, you cant terminate dad's rights.
