I am a non-US citizen living in Ghana. I have three children with a US citizen and want to apply for child support. Will I suceed?

I wish to inform you that the first thing to consider is that you wish to apply for child support in Ghana or in USA. In this you may obtain order regarding child support from a US court then that can be enforced but if you have obtain order from a court of Ghana then it may not be enforceable in USA because Ghana is not a member of Hague Convention. As court consider best interest of child therefore a US Court may give child support.

How do you start the process in the US if you don't live there but youn live in a different country with the children.
