international parental abduction?
My daughter is 7. Her mother, living in Washington, DC, has sole-custody and is moving via a job-transfer to Israel without my consent. Our agreement grants me "liberal visitation rights" but there is nothing stated about overseas travel. She has already obtained a passport for my daughter without my signature and is planning on leaving on June 14th. I am not sure what I should do...

file a motion in court to stop her from moving the child. she can move anywhere she wants, but unless the courts give her permission, she cant take the child with her. i dont know how she got a passport for the child without your signature, usually both parents signature is required |
