Default Missouri: Consent to Terminate Parental Rights

Has anyone given up parental rights in the state of Missouri in here?

I never thought that this day would come, but today I feel like this was the straw that broke the camels back. I now understand fully why some men choose to just walk away from their children because of the other parent. This has been years in the making and I feel like I am going in backwards with my son. He is a liar and has malicously hurt my infant daughter. I do not want to get into the nitty gritty, but I think it is sad that parents are allowed to use their childeren against the other.

Your question lacks detail so its difficult to replay. However without a willing step-parent willing to adopt a TPR is very unlikely

I agree with the first responder, unless adoption is a possibility it is highly unlikely you will be able to terminate your parental rights. You can however, choose not to excercise them in regards to your visitation but you will still be financially obligated to support your child. If the other parent is to blame, why not take measures to rectify this problem instead of just giving up on your child? Why not remove him from his mother if her actions are causing him to maliciously harm your other child? He obviously needs help. Don't give up on your son please.

I would love too if it was only that easy. The problem is that the mother is manipulative, and I am a guy so I lose in court. She has to either die, go to jail, or nearly kill him for me to have a possibility to get cusotdy.

This kind of thing is exactly what states try to do to people like me who tried and tired to be a good parent and help.
