How to object to a ruling in court
My son's father was arrested for child abuse and my children taken into protective custody. I was out of town when all of this happened. CPS told me to file for full custody, which I did, and was granted sole legal and physical custody of my boys, 16 yrs and 8 yrs. Father gets supervised visits, which they called therepeutic visits with the boys. The judge ruled that I have to pay for half the costs of these visits! How ironic that I have to pay for something I had nothing to do with or no control over! I can not afford an attorney, he had one with him.
How can I file something to go back into court and object to this or file a hardship or something so I don't have to carry this additional financial burden. I get no child support either! If anyone knows what I can do, please help me. I live in California. |

You can go back in and explain just as you have done here; the judge may order that he pays. Take your pay records etc. and perhaps even ask for child support to be ordered
