Question Objecting to a order of support by a magistrate in New York city?

Please help. I have a daughter that will be 4 in September this past Tuesday her father and I went to court for child support. He has never agreed to see her. When we went to court he brought in a paycheck saying he was making 310.80 a week. The magistrate ordered that he pay me 25 bucks a week. Now my issue is He works for Con Edison shouldnt he have brought his w-2 form. I contacted con edision who told me no way he makes that little when their customer service reps start at 14.72. How could he have gotten away with that? My husband is in the military (did two tours to Iraq)and has raised my daughter it was ordered we keep her on his military insurance. My daughters father is 32 lives at home with his parents and is college educated. I dont understand how he is only liable to pay 25 dollars a week. Can't they impute his income. He has been able to find jobs as an IT guy a postal worker. So he is capable of making more than 300 dollars a week. Please help me. I contacted the court and they told me i can object and list the reasons why and a judge would review it. I am asking what would the valid points of objection be. Since I am not a lawyer.. TMy husband is in the military and we have two other children who we support on a military income while I finish my degree. There is no way we could afford a lawyer. Oh and one other big thing we are currently stationed in Stuttgart, Germany with court proceding in New York City Thank you....

Send the judge a letter and tell him what Con Ed said. Ask for a new hearing and see if you can appear by phone. If need be, ask that your ex be held in contempt for lying to the court.
