Question Can my husband get custody: He suffered traumatic brain injuries

My Husband and I are divorcing. In July 06 we suffered a terrible motorcycle crash. Which has caused him to have traumatic brain injuries to his skull.
He now has to be assisted with everyday activities. Such as bathing, cooking, cleaning, dressing, etc. Can he possibly obtain custody of our 2 year old daughter? I am perfectly capable of caring for her and currently have no injuries.
