adopted child
I was stupid and agreed to adopting a child with spouse. it was final in Dec. 2006 I had concerns if we were to divorce and she said she would not hold me responsible for the child if we were to divorce, but now that I know this marriage will not work i am afraid. What can I do?

Unfortunately you will remain the father and you will be liable unless a new father adopts.
