If I Pick Up My Daughter ...
My wife and I are still legally married. I am currently in Manassas, VA working while she is in Cumberland, MD at our home with our daughter.
Tonight, I caught her with another man. It is definately going to be over between us. However, my daughter is at issue here. She is threatening to leave to Arizona by Saturday to be with her own family. She claims she wants me to have our daughter, but I just don't trust her. If I go down tonight and pick her up before she leaves for AZ where I can't get to her, would there be any legal issues I would have to deal with? Would she be able to call the police and get me in trouble for any kind of wrong-doing? |

No--but if you have concerns about how this will play out in the long run then file in court for an emergency order and get it settled.
