I have one daughter but don?t know where. I haven?t
talked to her in 3.5 years. Her mother called and asked me to sign over my rights so her new husband could adopt her. I said no and I haven?t heard from her since. They moved. What can i do? |

File in court and get orders as to visitation etc. if you can. A private detective can find her almost surely.

Pursue this in court. The child's mother cannot withhold the child from you if you desire visitation with your child. Track her down, go to that state/ county's court and demand visitation with your child. That clerk of court will direct you on what to do from there. Be forewarned, however, if you have had no interaction with your child in three and a half years, the court will probably not give you very much visitation and you will owe full child support, and if your ex-wife gets angry, she can claim an arrearage exists and you will owe 3.5 years worth of child support, which can be thousands of dollars.
