Confused A cheating husband. Do I have any rights to demand a paternity test?

My husband cheated and apparently got the girl pregnant. Do I have any right s to demand a paternity test...we are still married ans is she. She is due in May and is threating to leave town if he demands any more tests. We live in NY. If it is his he wants to take responsibility if not then so be it...we just want piece of mind. Do we have to wait until the baby is born???
help please

He can demand it if he reasonably thinks he is the father--and the court will order it.

That would be after birth...

you have no legal rights or standing to do anything with regards to this child. this is between your husband and this girl.

You cannot demand one, but your husband can.

Yes, he must wait until the baby is born to obtain a paternity test.

just because youre married to your hsuband doesnt give you the right to insert yourself in matters concering a child thats not yours. itll cause your husband problems. you are his wife not this child's mother, and doesnt legally concern you. there will never be a WE here. theres only your husband and this kid's mom( not you)
