Default Unmarried parents in MN (2nd attempt)

I'm sorry. My first thread was incomplete.

Hello,

I am a single Mom of a 9 year old daughter. I was not married to her father. I've read that in Minnesota, if the parents are not married at the time of birth, the Mother has sole custody until the courts decided otherwise. My daughter's father has made no attempts to receive joint custody or parenting time. He has chosen not to be involved with her daily life. He is on the birth certificate and does pay a minimal amount of child support.

My question is how do I get paperwork stating that I'm her sole custodial parent? I'd really like some proof of this. It's a little scary knowing that I can't prove that I'm her custodial parent.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You unfortunately have to go to court and get an order from the judge to make it 100% clear; or you two can do nothing or you two agree your own solution.

Unhappy Child custody

Hello
I'm a single mom. I have a 6 months old baby boy and I'm having problems with his dad. We are living together for more than 5 year but our relation is over. He always said that he is going to take my baby get out me. I'm a good mom.I always do everything for my 2 kids (my first daughter is not his child). I'm the person who take care of them. He is the person with the money at home so I don't know what I need to do?
Can he take my baby away from me?
Thank you
Maria
