I RECENTLY FILED FOR JOINT CUSTODY OF MY 1 1/2 YEAR OLD SON THE JUDGE GRANTED I HAVE A HEARING SET FOR DEC 28 AND DEC 8 FOR MEDIATION SINCE THE FIRST COURT MY X GIRLFRIEND WONT LET ME PICK MY BABY UP AND BRING HIM OVER TO MY HOUSE FOR VISITING I NEED TO KNOW WHAT ADDITONAL FORM I WOULD NEED TO FILE TO GET A TEMPORARY VISITATION ORDER UNTIL MY HEARING I HAVE NO TEMPORARY ORDERS AT THIS TIME I DIDNT REQUEST ANY I WAS NIEVE TO COURT PROCEDURES NOW I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO I HAVENT SEEN MY SON FOR 1 MONTH IF ANYONE KNOW WHAT I NEED TODO CAN U PLEASE HELP ME THANKS

Unfortunately there is no such thing as temporary custody filing.
Just have patience and do not instigate or get into verbal/physical abuse with her other wise that might be counter productive to you. Through a mediator/friend try to get the access to child.

On hearing day specifically mention that she didn't allowed you to see the child. Do not get into argument/allegations since the custody hearing is more pertaining to child. Master/Jury will not show any interest in allegations. Ask your attorney to demand for 3 weekend nights stay,
shared holidays, b'day, fathers day, mothers day, shared legal custody and joint physical custody.

Do not admit any allegations of abuse and stay cool and focused.

Not true. There is such a thing as temporary emergency custody, but that is for the initial stages.

If she is keeping the child from you, file a motion to enforce the child custody order.

You can file an emergency custody order requesting custody/visitation. The best way I know to do it involves a lawyer. Good luck.
